Just dropped in for a coffee before a meeting. Coffee was great but the service from the gentleman behind the counter was phenomenal. I did not get his name but it was the friendliest and most personable interaction I've had with someone working in hospitality for a long time. Definitely drop in if you're nearby.

Quick coffee here, quality roasting although the blend is not too strong. The staff are polite and friendly. The Cafe is usually busy as it is in a public service office block. The toasted rolls are very tasty and are good value.

Shannon and his team are fantastic when it comes to support when I am catering a corporate event. There are wide variety of options, which make things much easier when catering these days as people having so many food preferences. I know if there are any last minute issues, I can rely on him and his team to add extra sandwiches or utensil if I have forgotten something. I am confident when I recommend City Edge to others.

These people are so friendly! I explored many cafés around Civic before discovering the City Edge Café but I've now been dropping in for my morning fix almost every day. Shannon has an amazing memory and knows the names and precise coffee requirements of all of his regulars. The place has an upbeat vibe and the guys behind the counter are warm and welcoming. The coffee is high quality and there is a wide variety of food items, from walnut bread to full-on lunches. And it's spacious, so that there's always a place to sit down and read the paper. I really like this place.

After much research I have found egg & bacon roll nirvana. The ratio of bread roll, egg and bacon is perfect. 5 stars on this factor alone. This cafe has become the venue for our weekly team meeting (brunch), and the default for lunch with work-based friends. Eating there regularly it’s true that not all meals have been perfect but the staff are very receptive to feedback. They have a good selection of food for eat in or take away. It is clean and the staff are polite and professionally friendly. There is also a jigsaw puzzle and magazines provided for you to enjoy whilst you wait for your coffee (sometimes it does get busy so naturally there will be a wait).

I enjoy going to this cafe as Shannon and his team are always friendly, helpful and smiling. As a regular, they remember my name and how I have my coffee. There is a range of good food and cakes available. My favourite is their freshly baked meat pies - they are delicious and are among the best pies in Canberra.
